🎣 Tewkesbury Junior Anglers (Ages 7-12)

Perfect for young starters and budding anglers, our Junior Club is all about fun, safety, and experiencing the magic of catching your first fish in a supportive group environment.

Seasonal Membership: £80

This one-off fee covers the entire season from start to finish, with no hidden costs. We provide everything your child needs to fall in love with angling.

What's Included in Your £80 Membership?

• Weekly Coached Sessions: Fun, engaging, and safe sessions every week throughout the season, led by our licensed and DBS-checked coaches.
• Full Birmingham Anglers Association (BAA) Membership: This fantastic perk provides member insurance and gives access to the BAA's huge network of waters for family fishing days outside of official club sessions.
  • Please Note: The included BAA membership covers the junior angler only. As per BAA rules, any family members wishing to accompany and/or fish with them on BAA waters must have their own valid BAA membership. This can be obtained directly from the BAA, with current 2025 prices at £40 for a full fishing membership or £5 for a non-fishing companion membership.
• All Bait & Tackle Provided: We supply all the bait and have a stock of quality rods, reels, and tackle for members to use. There’s no need to buy any expensive gear to get started!
• Official TJA Welcome Pack: Every member receives their own club T-shirt (or hoodie, TBC) to wear with pride on the bank.
• Awards & Achievement Logbook: We track progress, celebrate personal bests, and award certificates to keep our young anglers motivated and proud of their new skills.

🔥 Tewkesbury Teenage Anglers (Ages 13-16)

Designed for those ready to level up. Our Teenage Club focuses on advanced skills, greater independence, and the strategy behind the sport, helping anglers master their craft.

Seasonal Membership: £80 + £15 Administration Fee (Total: £95)

This membership includes all the fantastic benefits of the junior package, with the admin fee providing essential enhanced protection for our older anglers.

What's Included in Your £95 Membership?

• Everything in the Junior package (including full BAA Membership), PLUS:
• Advanced Coaching Sessions: Focused workshops on more complex techniques like lure fishing for predators, specimen hunting tactics, and advanced watercraft.
• Access to Specialist Club Equipment: Opportunity to use more specialised club-owned gear suited for targeting larger fish.
• Greater Independence: Our coaches mentor our teenage members, giving them the freedom and responsibility to develop their own angling style.

About the £15 Administration Fee: A Focus on Advanced Safety

Safety is our absolute priority, especially as our anglers progress to more independent fishing.

This one-off fee is used solely to secure a necessary top-up Public Liability Insurance policy specifically for our 12-16 age group. This enhanced cover is required due to their use of more specialist equipment, the potential for fishing in more challenging conditions, and their greater level of independence on the bank.

In short, this fee isn't for paperwork—it's your teen's pass to developing advanced skills, safe in the knowledge that they are covered by the highest level of protection available.

💳 Flexible Payment Plan

We believe every child should have the chance to experience the joy of angling. To help spread the cost and make our club as accessible as possible, we offer a flexible payment plan for all our memberships.

• Junior Membership Plan (£80 Total): An initial payment of £30, followed by 5 monthly payments of £10.

• Teenage Membership Plan (£95 Total): An initial payment of £30, followed by 5 monthly payments of £13.
